Go Lead Idaho is an organization of volunteers that believes that adding women to leadership and policy-making roles in public office, board and commissions, private industry and non-profits will enhance the long-term health and wealth of the State of Idaho and our communities. Involving engaged women leverages the excellent resources our State already has.
Mission
Go Lead Idaho is comprised of professionals from various private industries, the government sector, non-profits and academic institutions. We are committed to engaging women in leadership and civic participation through active participation in the political process, public office, public policy or advocacy. We believe, as Margaret Mead once said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
Vision
Our vision is to be a sustainable, inclusive, nonpartisan organization facilitating leadership development and mentoring events and activities that heighten the role of women in the private, public and non-profit sectors within our State.
